The foreign Ministry is finalizing lists of Russian tourists who want to return home
The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation announced that on March 26, at 14: 00 local time, it will finish forming lists of Russian citizens who need assistance with returning to their homeland.
“Please immediately transmit the necessary data to Russian foreign institutions,” the statement on the foreign Ministry’s website reads. All those who returned to Russia will face a 14-day quarantine, the Ministry recalled.
Rosturizm promised on March 24 to return home in a week all Russians having a rest on tourist routes. According to the Agency’s estimates, there are now more than 57 thousand organized tourists abroad.
Together with the Federal air transport Agency and the Ministry of foreign Affairs, the problem of sending independent tourists to Russia who have difficulties returning is being solved. The exact number of independent tourists stranded abroad is unknown. Such travelers should immediately contact the embassies and consulates General of Russia.
Over the past week, Russian air carriers have already returned almost 20,000 people to the country from Bulgaria, Spain, Cyprus, Hungary, France, Montenegro, Moldova, India and Indonesia. According to the Federal tourism Agency, more than 40 thousand organized tourists came from abroad during the week.
