UK increases stamp duty for foreign property buyers
The stamp duty surcharge will begin to be collected from April 2021. This decision may lead to a temporary surge in the activity of foreign investors in the country’s market, writes Mansion Global.
The Chancellor of the exchequer of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, announced that from April 2021, an additional stamp duty of 2% will be introduced for foreign buyers of real estate.

The UN has published a rating of the world’s happiest countries
Russia lost to Tajikistan and Moldova in the world ranking of happy countries.
The UN presented the annual global ranking of happy countries World Happiness Report. It assesses the level of happiness in 156 countries around the world.
The rating is based on the analysis of indicators such as well-being, life expectancy, social support, freedom and the level of corruption. Continue reading
